Smelly Bus

 We are so relieved and grateful that corona is not a pandemic anymore. So the most important repercussion of which is the absence of masks. It has definitely been a welcome change, but never saw it in the point of view of kids. The public transport was the last place where masks were compulsory recently, so I always checked if I has a spare mask for wearing it during bus ride. Many a time we didn't board when we didn't have a mask at hand.

So recently after the masks were relaxed, I was travelling with my 5 year old son, in the bus.

Son: "We don't need to wear a mask in this bus?"

Me: "No we don't anymore"

Son: "So we have to wear it in the other bus because it is smelly and this is not  ?"

It struck me after a while that he thought we wore the mask to avoid the smell :)

Definitely we did never speak about why we were wearing the mask in the first place but it was amusing to know what went into the little minds :)
